Some of the words you can’t understand now, it’s okay to collect them, to do them step by step, to do them halfway, and the words that follow will automatically unlock.
Step 1: Base the ground.
**1. Purchase of a computer belonging to itself.**Using computers as your core productivity tool, almost everything you learn and work in the future will be on the computer. The computer is your window to the new world, and you should be excited whenever you sit in front of this window.

The need for typing is ignored by most people: you think most of the time you use a computer is to receive information, but it is extremely important to type, that is, the process by which you enter information into a computer. **3. Access to the global Internet.**Registered international mailboxes, steady access to GitHub, access to the world ’ s largest video and learning platforms, and access to global first-hand information. It’s hard for you to find a detailed course, and the fastest way is to get the senior a cup of milk tea to teach you. This step is a pass for all operations in the back.
**4. Load the AI programming tool.**Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, open up members and don’t worry about dozens of membership fees a month. You’re about to use AI to do something worth much more than this price. Let it turn your mind, save money, and then study.
Step two: build your data assets.
**5. Let AI teach you Git and GitHub.**Those outside the threshold do not feel obliged to learn, and those within the threshold feel extremely important. Only programmers used them in the past, and now AI has lowered the use threshold to zero. GitHub, which is equivalent to a worldwide schoolboy putting his homework on the web site for you to copy; there’s no time for troublemakers to write it, you write it for him, and you have your name on it. Your GitHub project is your time and your business card.
**6. Daily summary journals.**It’s a matter of heart, too. It’s not important to record anything, it’s important to start recording. In the future, the content generated by AI will gradually take over the entire Internet, and real human data will become valuable assets. At the same time, your real data helps AI to better understand you and work with you.
**Systematization of personal data.**Use AI to organize journals, notes, project documents into a searchable knowledge base. Core concepts: embedding, vector database, RAG. There is no need to be an expert, but to explain what they are.
**Building personal work streams through AI.**Every day, learning progress is reported, the knowledge base is updated, and daily learning and work accumulates into reusable assets.
Step three: Building the power of stripping AI after you.
**9. Learn a programming language.**C, Python, C++, Java, there is no need to worry about which door, language is a tool, programming thinking is universal. Let AI explain the concept, come up with practice questions, review your code.

**11. Identify high-quality sources of information.**It takes 10 minutes to browse the AI daily newspaper to optimize your own workflow and knowledge base with cutting-edge knowledge.
**12. Learning English.**Priority: Read > Hearing > Speech > Writing. Read first, you can read GitHub README and official documents without waiting for translation. Write last because AI can help you write the first three things you have to do.
Step four: developing habits, building awareness
**13. Any prior use of AI for information gathering, planning and action.**You’ve got a brain that’s ready to do your research. You don’t need to slap your head.
**14. AI can accelerate learning and work, but cannot substitute for learning and work.**The cognitive gap will not be filled by the emergence of AI. AI can only magnify what you already know, not what you know.
**15. 60 minutes per day to do nothing.**Don’t learn, don’t write codes, don’t brush your phone. Take a walk, or you can’t stand it. You have to get out of continuous operation on a regular basis, or you’ll become the most efficient and exhausted fuel of the AI era.
**16. Computer engineering capability is an AI age killer.**Most of the entries in this list, which used to be available only to computer students, are now standard for all professions and for all. It’s not the computer profession that needs to learn AI, it’s all the professions that need to learn AI.
